HOFFMANN MONITORS

The Hoffmann Monitors CX8 is a 2-way coaxial reference loudspeaker powered by an inbuilt DSP-controlled amplifier, designed and engineered to deliver uncompromising performance. Each speaker is custom-made and assembled in Berlin, Germany.

The progressive, stripped-down design of the dualport bassreflex cabinet is the outcome of consistent optimization of the monitor’s physical and acoustic parameters.

A linear phase crossover paired with the point source behavior of the coaxial driver offers a maximally flat phase and frequency-response with only a minimum of total harmonic distortion. This results in a highly precise system with an incredibly fast transient response and extremely realistic stereo image. The CX8’s symmetric layout and radial dispersion of 90° allow for both horizontal and vertical setups.

The integrated 10-band equalizer further expands the system’s versatility, making it highly adaptable to any room situation and personal preferences. EQ, preset, delay and gain operations can be adjusted using the controller app or the built-in touchscreen. With multiple inputs such as analog + digital AES/EBU over XLR as well as the optional Dante Ultimo Ethernet module, it's really easy to integrate Hoffmann Monitors into any setup.

The Hoffmann Monitors SX12 Subwoofer transforms the CX8 nearfield monitors into a scalable 3-way main monitor system.

It is built upon the same design characteristics and features that make the CX8 so unique. With a 12" neodym ultra-low distortion woofer driven by a DSP-controlled amplifier, the SX12 dramatically expands the frequency response and dynamic range of the Hoffmann Monitors system.

Conceived with a linear phase crossover, the SX12 matches perfectly with the CX8, resulting in an absolutely linear phase and frequency response from 28Hz upwards.

The SX12 also comes with an onboard DSP, offering EQ, preset, delay, and gain operations using our controller app or the built-in touchscreen.

Hoffmann Monitors was established to fulfill a dream and is dedicated to uncompromising sound and progressive design. In close collaboration with industrial design studio Geckeler Michels and renowned acoustic engineers, the first Hoffmann Monitors product line was introduced in 2020. This line consists of a versatile, scalable, high-end monitoring system featuring a unique design that delivers highly accurate and clear sound.

All products in the Hoffmann Monitors line are manufactured to the highest standards and exclusively feature professional-grade, high-end components. Each product is meticulously handcrafted and assembled to order in Berlin, Germany.
